No needs for faith and culture (atheist and white)

Suggested improvements
Maybe more singular one to one’s

Thank you for your feedback. The sessions are organised as group ones so that participants can share experiences and learn from each other. If you feel you need one to one , please speak to the organiser at the end. Best wishes, Hugh Jones, Patient Experience Manager

I feel as though the course has really valued myself and all my beliefs in a way that is productive and has supported me

Suggested improvements
I feel as though it is an excellent service. Sometimes the sessions feel long but I think they need to be that long and it could just be the heat

Review of IAPT Talking Therapies Northants
9th August 2022

The lady on the switchboard was very nice. [name removed], the first person I was put through to, was very warm & welcoming. She listened carefully as I spoke about my problems. She then spoke to her supervisor to assess what help they might be able to offer me. I was contacted again by [name removed] to say that they felt one to one low impact CBT would be appropriate [name removed], my therapist was kind, sensitive & professional throughout. Talking about mental issues can be difficult, particularly on the telephone, but [name removed] was supportive & non-judgemental, which helped enormously. I have been very impressed by the high standard of care that was given to me.

Suggested improvements
[name removed] affected the schedule somewhat, but nobody can help that. I cannot think of any way that my experience could have been improved. This is an excellent service.

My beliefs were respected and I feel that my person centred care was really good!

Suggested improvements
Maybe a better individual assessment of needs

[name removed] and [name removed] (and co.) were very accommodating and are probably the least judgemental people I have had the pleasure of meeting. There wasn’t a time where I felt unsafe whilst talking with them.

Suggested improvements
I wasn’t sure what I had expected. So unsure of what could be improved.

Review of IAPT Talking Therapies Northants
8th August 2022

For the first time in my life, I was given someone who understood me and helped me understand myself a little. Life has been very lonely for me, but having [name removed] to talk to, made me feel I could do it. She understood me, talked me through things and tailored each session to what help I needed. I am truly grateful.

Suggested improvements
Nothing really. The only thing would be, to give someone as many session they need to get better. I'm alot better, but not there yet.

Thank you for your kind words which I have passed to Laura. Sessions are limited due to heavy demand, but if you feel you still need support, please contact the service. Best wishes, Hugh Jones, Patient Experience Manager

[name removed] was lovely and a real help through a terrible year

Suggested improvements
I was originally passed to a non therapist who was lovely but not what I needed at the time. I was still in trauma and needed to talk to a professional. However I think this might have been because the therapy waiting lists were very long. Online cbt would have been better for me.

Response from Campbell House

Thank you for your response and for taking the time to share your experience with the team – we value and discuss all feedback that we receive to enable our service to develop and improve. We are very sorry that the support you received from the service did not meet your needs at the time. We endeavour to provide appropriate interventions in a timely manner with the constraints of the service. As part of the support we offer, we do provide support from a range of trained professionals in the service, who are not all therapists. Our staff offer telephone calls to check in, update and also to provide a safe space for women to share any concerns they may have whilst they wait for therapy. Online CBT is not something that we offer as a service at present but is offered by IAPT – we will consider this as an option to discuss with women on the wait list to ensure that they receive the right support at the right time to meet their needs.
